British Youth Circuit Championships

While I got some nice tracking shots I'm rather pleased with, can't beat the celebration. Torn between this and the extra image - this has a nice almost-symmetry to it, and the pack behind foreshortened by the 200mm I think looks good. The winner in the extra shot was just great though - making a break on the penultimate lap, the pack bearing down as she approached the line, just just just holding out, and within 50 yards of this shot she was in tears on the bike, then off to collect her red and white striped jersey.

Great stuff.

Not so the journey there, punctured tyre with the run-flat holding out with a bit of shredding for me to reach a tyre place. All fine, the coming home a familiar judder, and the same tyre flat. Managed to get it pumped back up this time, and limped home - need to take it to the local tyre place to see if it's ridiculous bad luck with a second puncture, or something wrong done by those who fitted the replacement. All coming out of my pocket. Sigh.
