Jobs!
I was up first at 8.30 & is it odd to say I really enjoyed cleaning and rearranging my kitchen, before anyone else was even awake?
I then enjoyed a peaceful cup of tea and toast before hoovering. At 10.30 I woke Henry as we needed to go to North Walsham to buy crickets. We had a wander around the garden centre while there, and then went to a local car sales garage to check out what was on offer within my budget.
After a quick top up shop in Waitrose (only £5.44 - I don't normally shop there) we got home at 1.30! Both Daniel and Mollie demanded to know where we had been for two hours!!! I hadn't realised I needed to check out :-)
In the afternoon I looked at cars online, then tackled these red curtains from Henry's room. Big mistake - I got Henry to measure how much they needed to be reduced by!! This is me nicely measuring them before I chopped the bottom off! He says 'perfect' - I say they are about 2" too short! Oh well, no harm done and he's happy!
We tried to finish a game of scrabble we started last night. No one was very focused. I skyped Jon, then finished a poem for work that I started in the week.
Bed now. It's been nice being at 'home' this weekend - even though I admit to referring to Cambridge as 'home' more than once this weekend. There are still lots of things to move and only next weekend to do it.
Jon has managed to sell the climbing frame today with the help of Daniel and Gumtree. He has someone coming to look at his motorbike Tuesday. Will be handy if he doesn't have to move that. Now waiting for interest in the trampoline, freezer & trailer.
2 weeks and counting.
