Stand Up, Kneel Down, Sit Down?

SUPs are becoming quite common in the past couple of years. SUP...or Stand Up Paddling classes are commonplace though these beginners seem a little confused as to what standing up means. I wouldn't fancy one in rough weather.....just saying
