~Cathedral Rock Ridge~


Up early again this morning, it's starting to become a pattern.
Some very busy days lately, places to go and people to see.

I was very sad when it appeared that our sunset season ended.
But if it is replaced with sunrise season I'll be extremely happy.

This peak, Cathedral Rock at almost 8,000 feet, is a very prominent
feature of the Santa Catalina Mountains, and is actually the
focus of many of my morning or evening spiritual meditations.
If God were to have a home on earth it might be way up there.

And for what it's worth, as I learned today, that 70 million years ago
the rock on this peak was buried to a depth of 6 mile below sea level.
Trivia, I can take it or leave it, but sometimes its just plain interesting!
