Shed Saga: Almost Finished & Sea Sunday
I had a lazy morning making some jewellery which will be donated as a raffle prize to our Village Fair. Whilst making jewellery I was listening to Cerys Mathews on Radio6, her theme was Sea Sunday when seafarers across the world are remembered - http://www.seasunday.org/about-sea-sunday
I also discovered that Anglesey has it's own flag - http://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/anglesey-flag-flies-closer-official-6881477
There's a programmable Friendship Bracelet to encourage girls to code -http://www.womenyoushouldknow.net/programmable-friendship-bracelets-to-inspire-girls-to-code/
Why Seafarers wore earrings (coincidentally I was making earrings) - http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/LUNEN-LINKS/1999-04/0924494704
MrD had another long day putting boards on the roof which will be the inner roof.
This afternoon I had a mad half hour of pulling all the grass out of what should be a flower border at the front, it needs some serious attention. MrD went over the weeds with the lawnmower and they are now mulching the kale planted a couple of days ago.
