Keeping one eye open

This is the tufted duck family that I blipped last Saturday and although you can only see three duckling heads, we were delighted to find that there were in fact still four.

However, things weren't so good as regards the nests - no one was on the coot nest or the moorhen nest, so looks as if nothing will be happening there.

The swan family were all present and correct and going about their business of patrolling the pond and being first in line for any bread on offer.
