Kirston pass

Today I did a rather chilly 2 mile swim in Ullswater! At one point I wasn't sure if I was going to make it to then end because  I was feeling too cold, but I pushed on and finished.

To get the swim I had to drive on the Kirston pass; it's a road I haven't traveled on before, but I have to say, the scenery is beautiful! It reminded me of the Llanberis pass in Snowdonia.
