Fly .... but NOT in the ointment!

Enjoyed a lovely walk round part (roughly 5.5 miles) of the Loch Leven Heritage Trail with L & M this afternoon.  M's husband dropped us at the start, he then cycled the 14 miles round trip, picked up the car at the starting point and then drove to meet us at the rendevous point where we enjoyed a cup of tea and a lovely piece of shortbread.  D of course had arrived long before us walkers ..... too much chat when you have three women walking together!
M is not a blipper so L and I didn't like to keep stopping to take photos. Not terribly exciting but I did manage to capture this fly probing for nectar on the thistle.  The extra photo shows the view as we started our walk.
