Aftermath

We were going to have a quiet day today. I made a boiled fruit cake and pickled some onions.  and then booked a short break on the internet.  Just going to get lunch - phone call - daughter number 2 - what are you doing? Not a lot.  Would you like 4 visitors?  Yes fine when are you coming?  About 1/2 hour.  Cake hurriedly put in oven lunch eaten standing up (more slimming it goes straight down!!) Half and hour later they arrived EM was very good and played with the ponies etc. L was busy exploring and was as good as gold.  The pond was a big hit and EM was thrilled because she spotted a frog.  L just liked heer dad holding he to dip her feet in. It was lovely to see them but tiring!!
