an oasis..

..on a hideous run this morning. i don't know what was wrong: dehydration, tiredness, humidity or just plain unfitness. but i just couldn't do it. i've never had to take walking breaks on a 5k before. oh well, at least i burnt off a few of yesterday's spontaneous saturday calories.

spent the rest of the day pottering around at mum and dad's: washing the car, painting my nails and watching some tennis.

i don't have much else to say except: five. more. days. then the small issue of shooting a wedding before our scottish road trip. cannot wait.
