Beat's Birthday and Gollum goes to Vikingland

Today is Beat's birthday - he is 7 years old now!

He got a water toy in his Birthday present, so this morning I took the 3 grown up dogs to the lake for a swim and to play with Beat's new toy, whilst Gollum practised being home alone.

We were gone for about an hour, which is a good periode of time for Gollum to be home alone at this stage. He did very well and was asleep, when we came back. 

I had lunch and then it was time for Gollum to go out. We met with Helle and her pup Ex-it at Trelleborg Viking Fortress. There is a Viking Festival there this week and 800 vikings from all over Europe are staying there and doing all kinds of activities. 

It was a great experience for the puppies. The met so many nice people and dogs, they saw horses, played with children etc. A faboulous day out. You can see lots of pictures here. 

These 2 beautiful Irish Wolfhounds were some of the friendly Viking Dogs that we met today. 

Gollum needed a nap, when we came home from Vikingland, so I took the adult dogs for a walk. 

Gollum had an hour of energy to burn after he had eaten and now all 4 dogs are asleep.
