Pretty Hairy!

Turned to the garden again after church to look for a blip and luckily a Tortoiseshell landed on this Everlasting Wallflower.

It is my first butterfly blip this year though I did photograph them on the sea pinks in Scotland. I chose this one as I liked how the side view showed how hairy it was!

I also like the wall flower, it has purple and orange flowers on the same sprig. The unopened floret just below the wing is orange.
