Munch and Bury

I suspected the grubs had changed to beetles from their second stage.  We could only find two after sifting the dirt.  Looks like one didn't make it.

Unfortunately no funky beetle head gear as they are both girls.  My daughter named the one that bit down on a lump of wood and wouldn't let go, Munch.  The other one burried itself in the dirt quick sharp when I put her back in the tank so she has been named Bury.

So off to the hardware/gardening shop to buy beetle jelly and another male beetle.  No beetles but I later found some in the department store/supermarket.  They also had some very cool rainbow metallic beasties but for a pair of them the price too high.  I've bough cameras for less
