Fremont Lake

Today was another relaxing day which included wandering around a couple of nearby small towns, browsing in antique stores,  and enjoying some  delicious Michigan Ice-cream.   We even went to a traditional American Drive-In 'Dogs and Suds' restaurant - the kind where you get 'curb service' and they deliver the order to your car and clip the tray to the car window.  We had their famous Root Beer in frosted glass mugs.

In the evening I decided I needed to see the sunset and went to Fremont to sit by the lake.  As you can see from this picture, fishing is a very popular Michigan activity!  The last time I visited Fremont was in January when the lake is frozen solid and dotted with shelters covering the ice-fishing holes.

I've added a few extra photos from the day.
