7.50 am being ......

...... early for 8am service, I sat in the car park looking
at this lovely oriel window, when I looked to my left
at the warning sign!!! Altho' this sign has been there
for years, it occurred to me how unfortunate it was
placed!! NO it definately doesn't mean " no entry" to
church!
It also occurred to me how we misinterpret signs??
It may be something said, done or inferred! We need
to look at the bigger picture before we decide it's
wrong or inappropriate!
I remember years ago when my daughter was
2/3years old, we were in Lyme Regis , on the Cobb!
There is a trick corner, and traffic was hard to see,
a child ran into the road, mother retrieving said
child from the road processed to smack the child's
leg and scold her!! As I passed I said I would never
do that to my child, not to mother but to my husband!
Now was I correct to judge??? That parent was scared
for the safety of her off spring! I'm sure I miss read the
signs? So maybe I should give myself a talking to and
think before I judge??? Food for thought,!!!!
