A week in and our first properly rainy day.
After a morning me and the boys at the museum in the Hope and then the tapestry place at Hoxa, we bit the built and went for cultcha. In the form of Damien Hirst at the Pier Arts Centre.
We drove through torrential rain and grey November weather to get there; the obligatory 30 minutes in the library on their sofa upstairs overlooking the harbour on the internet before a brief wander through. Kids loved the medical stuff; I still think it's one of the great spaces in the country to view art; love it there.
Brief soggy lunch then we went back via the Metropolis for Saturday night movies and popcorn.
Where is the stove when you need it...?
