Dragonfly

Wow, today is an amazingly beautiful cloud free day here in Roche Harbor. Found several different dragonflies, and cannot identify this one, so decided to post it. I really loved the dark parts of the wings, and the color. Most of the common ones are blue here, but I thought this was one I had never seen before, and I'm hoping you can help me identify it.

Also for you flower lovers, I finally identified that flower from a couple days ago, thanks to the wonderful garden lady here at Roche Harbor...she says it is Astrantia, which is a herbaceous perennial from Europe, also called Great Masterwort. It comes in pink and white.
