A brighter start to the day

Yesterday did not go to plan.....

Dropped Freya at school at 9.00am for the first leg of her journey to China, the coach to Bham airport.

We then intended to each have a day at work and go out for a nice dinner, in between which I would take Alfie to the vets for his regular check up and vaccination.

Upon leaving the vets Alfie was not in 100% control of his hind legs and was weaving everywhere.  This ended up with me taking him to Langdon Vet School near Bristol and not returning until 10.00pm.  It appears he might have either slipped a disk or had the canine equivalent of a minor stoke! :-(

He is staying in the Vet school while they monitor him and decide whether he needs an MRI scan - thank god he is insured MRI scan = £2,500!!

The good news is that Freya has made it safely to Beijing, via Dubai!
