Hydrangea

I'm not really trying to do a floral journal here, I just ran out of time and had to resort to the easy, in-the-front-yard blip.  Actually, though, this hydrangea is special because it was a Mother's Day gift from my grandson Dustin several years ago.  It got way too big for the pot I put it in and did not look well so as a last resort, and with little hope it would survive,  I transplanted earlier this year it to a special spot under a big magnolia tree in the yard near the grave of my landlords' dear little dog, Skyler.  It's been blooming like it never bloomed before so I can only think that it's very happy being out of the pot, or that it's very happy doing something special for Skyler.
