Colors have shown themselves

I planted these hollyhocks last year and they did not flower. I could not remember what color they were until.... Now! Amazing deep grape purple almost black. This is my pretty happy garden - in the thick smoke from forest fires today (you cannot see that part). Hot and dry in western Canada this year. Please rain soon.
