Hirta
It was a sunny morning when I got up but the sky soon turned to grey. I waked round the garden and everything was very wet with puddles along the path so decided nothing would be done today so we decided to go to Ullapool.
They had a fun day on the pier run by the Rotary Club. This ship called Hirta is one of the governments Marine ships that checks up on the fisherman round the Scottish waters. We were allowed on it today and the Captain explained what the ship does. Beside it was the Tall ship the Wylde Swan. Loads of stalls out and the Ullapool pipe band were playing too. There was a Skiff race on too.
Although it was a bit overcast it was not cold
