Ready to swim

Went for a swim with Mummy this morning - not at the beach, but at the swimming baths. We weren't sure we'd enjoy it but it was great fun. I found a long thin green float, and Baby had his ball, so we enjoyed playing with them. Baby invented a great game - climbing out of the baby pool and threatening to jump in the big pool so Mummy had to follow us, jump in first, and then catch us when we jumped in. We also played on the steps.
Afterwards we were looking forward to going to the cafe but it was shut, so we had to make do with the meagre snacks Mummy had brought. Then we curled up in the buggy and had a nap, waking up in a nice cafe ready for more snacks, then bought Baby a helmet, and headed for the wee playpark. On the way home, we ran into A (no J as he was being bought a helmet too!).
Had pasta (just me and Baby) then played for a while, looked at some old photos of me (Baby thought they were of him and shouted "me!" at them, as well as occasionally correctly identifying Daddy or Mummy), had lots of stories, and Baby went to sleep, while I realised that I was not at all tired and held out for quite a while.
