Setting

It's the last dance class of the year today. Last class. Not last dancing. We have dress rehearsal for the show all day tomorrow, she had a "setting" class today for her solo, two performances of the show next week, plus we found out today the younger classes are dancing at a church fete in the summer so there will be rehearsals for that. These may *just* be enough to save Katie's sanity over the summer. Can't guarantee it!

She had such a wonderful time at setting for her solo- almost made the huge few worthwhile! Her dance is so pretty and the music is such a gorgeous twinkly arrangement.

After her class, we hung around an hour longer. Can't get her out the place on a Saturday! Turned out the only way to get her happily away was to take her wee friend with us and on the promise we were going to Lydia's to play in their new paddling pool! And as luck would have it, they had all had enough and gone upstairs to play for the second half of the women's Wimbledon final.

I took them home for tea. At this point it became decided little friend was staying the night! First time for that. But it went well. Little friend was asleep by 645. Katie was asleep by 715! Let's see what time they both wake me!!
