Spider Surprise

I don't know why I am so fascinated with spiders and insects, I really dislike them, but I noticed the web and egg case first .  The web was so intricate, spanning about 12 inches and though it isn't clear, the egg case was all fluffy and frilly.  As I was trying to get a good angle to photograph it, I noticed the spider on the beam.  This was going on above my favorite chair on the screen porch - Dismantled the egg case (sorry) and moved the spider and her eggs outdoors to the edge of the woods.  Don't know if she could save them, but it appeared that there were a zillion little feet hanging out the bottom of the egg case!
