Going Home....

This was taken on our way back from Manchester today.  As the weather was good again we decided to take the scenic route and avoid the motorway.  The M62 is much quicker  -  when they're are no delays of course, but the run home over the tops is infinitely more pleasing.  Lots of people had the same idea as us, and many just seem to drive up to the top of the hill and sit in their cars taking in the views.

This was taken just above Holme Village looking back to Holme Moss;  I don't suppose I should have taken the shot looking into the sun - but it seems that this time I got away with it.
