Clematis - Evison Poulsen
I took some pictures of Sparrows this morning before I took Mr A to Addenbrookes hospital for his appointment. After that we did some shopping in Cambridge followed by high tea/dinner in John Lewis. We waited ages for a Park and Ride bus as there was a problem with the buses getting through from the Milton Park and Ride. In the end they diverted another bus to us, but it still took a long time to get home, lots of traffic. My daughter tells me that everyone was going home early to watch the England football match!
This evening when I looked at the pictures I had taken this morning they were not very good so I went out in the rain to take some pictures of flowers with raindrops. It has rained all day and everywhere is very wet.
I decided on this Clematis which is called Evison Poulsen, it was my first blip taken last year on 24 May 2011. This one was chosen not just because of the raindrops, but because there is a tiny aphid in the picture. It looks much brighter in the rain than it did last year in the sunshine; this is straight out of the camera.
