Clematis Marjorie

I bought this in honour of my Geordie friend of the same name...when I announced it was in flower she couldn't wait to visit...on being shown the very small and initially dull flower -which does improve with time - she said..'Is that it ??'...
Somehow I don't think she was impressed. I can never see it flower without remembering her... and her underwhelmed reaction... Miss you Marje...visit soon....
