Carolina anole

He lives in the trees beside the pool at the house we are renting. Isn't he wonderful? I had never seen one in the "wild" before this week.

we are leaving to go back home tomorrow morning so I spent as much time relaxing as I could. It's been a wonderful vacation.

I learned a very important lesson yesterday.... You can't take your camera out of the house and go to the beach when the house is air conditioned and the beach is very humid and expect to take photos. By the time my lenses had defogged, the sun had set.
