Alumnus visit

Mr. L (aka The Redheaded Kid) and his mom and brother came for a visit this morning. L was in the former cohort of children, and probably the most photographed of any of them because of his playfulness and expressive nature (here's an example). 

He's been very shy about coming back for a visit. But once he got here today and settled in to play in the familiar back yard, he was his "old" self, telling us stories with large gestures and showing us how he can ride his new scooter ("with one hand and one foot!").  I miss this kid.
