Rescue Mission.......!

This is a flower and bud on my 'James Galway'....rose...
It's an enormous rose bush and I didn't sow this one in the right place either....so it was buffeted round very badly by the wind and rain we had earlier in the week...
So this is it after a major effort to stake it in and tie it up....
Its thorns literally attacked me as I struggled...but I got there..
And it's looking a lot better now....
Hopefully the next session of rain and wind doesn't undo my efforts .....
Had another very nice day here despite rain being forecast for the late afternoon.....it's raining now...!
Looking forward to an afternoon out tomorrow......late celebration for my birthday...
