On the Home Front

Now I know this looks a little weird but on the beach this morning I was looking at the searchlight emplacement that has been spruced up and had a new board added explaining to the younger generations what went on in this part of the world during WW2. Coastal defences on this coast were vital and there are still traces left to remind us how close we came to the unthinkable. Anyway, I digress.My attention was caught by these intriguing faces someone had seen in the pebbles which cover the beach and were raising a smile from the early morning walkers. I particularly like the whale (4th from the left) and the grumpy group on the right (subject of one of todays extras. Hope they make you smile too.
