Moorhen

A beautiful day lots of sun, hot but with a breeze.  Did some baking early, had coffee and then went for a walk over the brickfield ponds.  It was great ,had it to myself, sat and let the wildlife come to  me!  I watched this moorhen and her chick for quite a while and she came quite close, then she turned and went back to the chick.  Saw three different dragonflies/darters and the two swans but no cygnets, also some ducks and butterflies.  Had to put some on extras!
