Colourful Day!

What a great day! I was involved in a school trip to a local medieval festival where the children had the opportunity to become involved in a range of medieval activities including music, where we learnt what an "urdy gurdy" was along with some medieval dance moves! A spot of battle re-enactment and archery were enjoyed too!! I had a little go at the archery activity (shall we just say I need a little more practice!)

A day which started and ended fabulously thanks to all the participants who were so friendly and only too pleased to share their knowledge and expertise with this particular period in history for us all to absorb.

Went along to the schools summer fair this eve too! Phew, so glad it's the weekend:) happy weekend all.
