Diary of an Edinburgher

Good, Apple!

I was almost first in the queue for tech support at the Apple Store this morning. The charming Lewis showed me that my camera does indeed connect to the iPad, just has to be done in the right order. I then produced, with a very sad face, the chewed up earphones, and I may have said bad words about my dog. To my surprise, nay, delight, Lewis said, 'Let me see what I can do...'

He came back a few minutes later with new headphones! And they're better than the ones that came with the iPod, they have a volume/next track control on the cord. Brilliant!

So I walked through town with my new iPod headphones plugged in. And I could turn up the volume to drown out the bagpipers practising on street corners. Even more brilliant!

Archie went out for a walk with his pal Michelle. He hasn't seen her for a while, but gave her a warm welcome, so he remembered her.

Federer was too good for Andy today. But Andy did well getting to the semis. The final should prove to be more of a match. My bet is on Roger.

Saw this wee red Morri. Luckily it had stopped at the lights long enough for me to fiddle about with my still unfamiliar manual camera settings. I used to have a wee white Morri. (That shows how very old I am).

I would never have sold a red one!
