Always one to zoom in on business miss-speak in meetings, when not zoning out, I was amused that one of the area heads, knowing that the exec have to sign off on all things, and knowing that said exec will ask how the object of their sign-off has been 'evidenced,' announced that he had exactly what was required - the 'smoking gun,' as he put it; though he quickly continued that it was something of a double edged sword.
Ha (draws breath). Anyway, an evening doing what I've avoided doing for months; bloody money for the pontoons. Dozens of envelopes. Grrrr. Still eventually, order was restored and Question Time and This Week viewed. With only two bottles of beer. That's how moderate I am. When it comes to beer; not politics. How dare you call me moderate!
