Flower of Scotland

I found a patch of thistle growing amongst nettles outside the gallery where we currently have our photo exhibition. I spotted it yesterday but was ill-equipped to pick it and made a mental note to bring secateurs and gardening gloves on my next visit. It turns out I was still ill equipped to pick it and now have nettle stings up my arm! I think it was worth it?

The exhibition opening went fantastically last night. We had lots of visitors and all made favourable comments on our work and the presentation of it. It was a very rewarding experience. I think it may become a termly venture.
