Rose bud

Just a quick trip into the garden to take this photo of a rose bud before returning to watch the Wimbledon Men's semi-finals.  I'm off to watch the ladies final on centre court tomorrow - so excited, can't wait!!!

I looked for a quote and found the following by Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. which appealed to me:

'But friendship is the breathing rose, with sweets in every fold.'
