Brrrrrr its June!

What a lovely summer wet day we are having! I started my day sitting in traffic for longer than a forty minute drive should take! I felt very sorry for the poor girl that got completely soaked by the rather stroppy lorry driver in front of me - surely he saw the huge 'puddle' and surely he saw the girl walking on the pavement?! But nope the poor mite got a complete drenching, so I guess her day started wetter than it actually is!
I met my Mum today (yep I skived off work, well, I did work Saturday and Sunday evening!) for a bit of girly shopping, Mum needed a new outfit for the Bomber Command Memorial un-veiling. We found lovely dress within minutes.....good old John Lewis and Phase Eight!
Came home to a rather excitable hubby - his pool table has arrived! I'm pleased for him I really am as he's worked his socks off over the years and his dream was to have a 'games room'. Games Room is our double garage converted - oh this is no ordinary garage conversion, this is the full works!! Ceiling / walls / lights / bar / sink / dart board / the right beer glass blablabla but he's happy which means I'm happy and also means that I pretty much get to spend (within reason) what I like on new curtains for said new home of ours.
