Jubilee/parent's anniversary celebrations
Went to Chichester today for the jubilee float procession. One of them had a giant knight, princess and dragon on it. Amazing what you can do with a bit tons of papier mache.
Anyway, pics from top left to bottom right:
Mum and Dad eating grapes at Priory Park - My brother was at the playground at this point and I was on a bench with my wonderful grandparents eating a picnic. My mum has an extremely weird expression on her face. Don't worry, she's not always like that..
Mum and Dad eating grapes in Priory Park... again - similar photo but really wanted to put these two pics in as they tell a funny story. Mum had stolen Dad's "Mandolin Cafe" cap and decided to wear it herself. Super cheesy smiles in this one. Kinda scary but oh well.
Mum about to watch the jubilee procession in North Street - Procession hadn't arrived yet so took a pic of Mum with my brother's TWO (I don't even know why he needs two of them!!!!) union jack flags. Actually sunny for once.
The swing boats, the cathedral and a random bird - In priory park there were a lot of stalls and fairground rides but sadly there wasn't a ferris wheel. :(
My Grandma did tell me a story about some swing boats, her mum and her neighbour. Apparently her neighbour threw up on her mum on some swing boats. Not nice...
Random bird appeared and wasn't supposed to be in the pic but this was the best one and luckily he wasn't blurry.
And last of all...
The old cars - These came along in the procession and then travelled to Priory park along with the floats, so people could look at them. I knew of this style used on campervans and other stuff and decided to give it a go. It worked really well! Yey!
Hope you had a lovely jubilee weekend and liked looking at these pics! :)
