Marvel
The name of the "bar and grill" where we had lunch today with our daughters and the boys. Daughter J gave me a book recording a conversation between father and son on philosophical issues, after the son had become a Buddhist Monk (The Monk and the Philosopher). I'm looking forward to enjoying it. After I finish Plato at the Googleplex by Rebecca Goldstein.
Tsuken had arranged for one of his photos (personally inscribed) to be framed, and given to me. Impressed by the photo, and very touched by the words. Daughter C gave me some lovely beer glasses to replace those broken in recent times (by others than me). And the boys chose a rather unusual turquoise tin bird (a crane, so the box says) for the garden.
I feel very loved.
I went outside the Marvel to take this photo showing my daughters.
