Doctors Creek

We had another heavy frost today followed by sun and clear skies all day. But despite the sun there is a nip in the air. I was glad of my merino long johns under my track pants when the dog and I took our morning walk. Doctors Creek feeds into the Taylor River about 10 minutes walk from our house. The frost was slow to thaw along the banks.
Heavy snowfalls in parts of the North Island are making life difficult for many, including farmers and motorists. Hopefully the worst is over for the folk in the badly affected areas.
