way too high-up to be the sun

My 18-70 is now all sold, wrapped and addressed and ready to begin a new life elsewhere, hopefully with someone who'll use it rather than leave it at home most days and not complain about how fuzzy it is relative to primes and how relatively un-useful f/3.5 is during the winter. If I also finally get round to flogging my excess baggage and surplus memories at some point soon I should be able to investigate some form of more useful replacement. No idea what so it'll leave plenty of time for investigation.
