A time to relax
No marking and miserable weather.
Time for tapestry.
I can't do this in the winter as the light is too poor. I took it with me to Scotland and did a little there and will hopefully get a bit more done over the summer. My son bought me this two Christmases ago but I was busy doing a tapestry for Chris for his 60th last year.
I am well on the way to completing the top half but I think it will be next summer before it is finished. It is called 'Summer Paisley' and I love the colours. It makes me think of India.
I hope you have noticed my pin cushion bunny with a very famous name. A gift from a friend many years ago and much treasured.
At least we have the light evening if not the summer weather.
I had hoped to take a picture of my son- perhaps with his Jubilee medal. He is due home on leave today as they have had leave cancelled later in the summer because of the Olympics. Anyway he rang to say he was going straight to a friends to watch the football!!
Ces't la vie!
By the way this is my 800th blip
