Deepest, darkest Dagenham.

Dagenham in east London was my destination this evening, to judge a photographic competition at the Dagenham Camera Club.  After the meeting the town was not yet at its darkest:  this picture was taken just after 10pm close to the hall where the club meet, and there was still quite a lot of light in the sky.

(Incidentally, surprisingly sharp for a handheld half second exposure.  A steady hand combined with image stabilisation can achieve wonders!)
