Adventure to the East

Starting on the train towards Trieste. It has been about 31 years since I saw Shirley. After all this time, there are certain things I am pretty sure we just understand about each other without saying much. Carpe diem being an underlying theme. Thanks so much, my beautiful friend, it was just the best day seeing you and your gorgeous family. We had a tour of the Tokai Friulano region and maybe had a little taster (thanks Roberto!!) dipping in and out of Slovenia with its vine clad terraces and history soaked valleys. We will be back and see you in Mallorca! xxx
