A Place in the Sun

Having seen a customer this morning, an interesting lesson on how to choose, buy and download music tracks and copy them to a MP3 player, we watched a little tennis then walked to Anne Hathaway’s cottage to have a look around the garden. 
 
I know we were there only a few days ago but we had left it a little late then and didn’t get chance to look at the tree and sculpture garden.  The day ticket we bought then allows free access for the rest of the year.
 
The ‘extra’ is a copy of a bird scarer used in Shakespeare’s time, feathers stuck in a potato.  Presumably he used quills that had become blunted!
 
Home later to watch Andy Murray’s big brother, Jamie, with his tennis partner, win their way through to the doubles final. Well done!
