Bad Barbara

Today I felt really sorry for Roy.  He had his appointment at the hospital this morning to remove the packing from his nose. It was an excruciating 10 minutes, at one point I thought he was going to pass out, but he survived.  

He is now able to breath threw his nose, even though he still has the splints up each nostril to keep the septum in place that has been realigned, they are removed on the 21st but that is only a minor procedure.

Why am I bad, well, I have had the bottle of ginger beer in the fridge for weeks, it was a previous blip.  I drank that whilst cooking dinner.  I had already put a bottle of white wine in the fridge, this is now the second glass.  After the events of the last few days I feel the need for a drink, and why not.
