Occasional Bright Intervals

The day was mainly overcast, when the sun did break through I captured this scene looking down on Arrochar at the head of Loch Long, top left of the picture is the southern half of Loch Lomond.

The task on-hand was to climb A' Chrois, gaelic for cross, denoting its outline.

A' Chrois is in the Arrochar Alps, north west of Arrochar in Argyll.

Surrounded by Munros (Scottish Mountains over 3,000 ft) A' Chrois is a Corbett at 2,782 ft.

The views from the top were spectacular but in such a big landscape coupled with poor light my pictures generally were disappointing.
