Another Newt Larvae

Sorry folks... I'm becoming obsessed.  

This one is hunting down it's first blood worm.  I put them everyday but this is the first one that I've seen hunted, caught and swallowed whole.  I keep saying I'll release them but they are happy for the time being and I can't get enough of them.  If you go back to ten days ago,  you can see how the gills have changed as they start to mature. The more advanced larvae are spending more time  amongst the weeds near the surface of the water. Their gills are absorbing slowly back into their bodies so they need to practice taking a breath of air. 

Total time wasters!
