lake walk

We were very adventurous today and drove around to the west of the 
Lakes!  Had a lovely walk around Ennerdale Water which I calculated as 7 and a bit miles. 

It was a spur of the moment decision about 7.30 this morning based on the good weather forecast. We stopped in Keswick to buy sandwiches which was a bad move. I’ve never seen such a poor selection in recent years nor had such dry bread. Sorry Mr Booth, I’ll make my own next time or go to Tesco. Oh, they did have expensive posh ones in paper bags but can you imagine what they would have looked like after a few hours squashed in my rucksack ?
